Our community and its residents celebrated Black History Month with events noting the theme for this year: “Black Family: Representation, Identity and Diversity.” During the month, we recognized and celebrated the significant contributions African-Americans have made throughout our history and continue to make today. We all came together to display the past to the present timeline which included the fashion, the music and the food.
